How does she sleep at night? She knows. Of course she knows.

Thanks for the excellent article, James. I agree with your point of view on all aspects of this issue. The sooner we remove this sex-change craze from society the safer and saner our young people will be and the more truly caring we will become for people who suffer from 'gender dysphoria'.

‘In the end, she justified treatment on the basis that “we have just taken a little arm off or added a little hexagon” and that “it doesn’t really matter which hormones you have”.’

Umm… yeah it does? And I don’t think my Organic Chemistry prof would have accepted as a correct answer a drawing of a chemical structure missing “a little arm” or with an extra “little hexagon.” FFS.

OMG. This woman should definitely be struck off again. She has absolutely no ethics and is clearly a danger to anybody she "treats" Her opinions are those of a crazy person and the GMC needs to do something about her membership of the medical profession ,asap. Thanks ,James. Well said.👍👏❤️

Thanks for another great article James - and also for having the courage to publically call out this delusional individual. I think your character sketch of Dr Webberley elegantly illustrates the phenomenon of complete ideological possession - but just out of interest, do you see ideological possession as being the cause of mental illness, or is the causality the other way round ?

These dangers are mirrored in the response to ‘social transitioning’ by not one but the whole UK Educational Psychology enterprise, as represented by their ‘Association of Educational Psychologists’ (AEP).

The Dept. for Education (DfE)’s draft guidance on ‘Gender Questioning Children’ has 5 ‘overarching principle’s’…. “There is no general duty to allow a child to ‘social transition.’ The Cass Review’s interim report is clear that social transition is not a neutral act, and that better information is needed about the outcomes for children who undertake degrees of social transition”.

The final NHS commissioned Cass Review, to be released tomorrow, goes even further and will warn of the “grave psychological consequences” for children allowed to socially transition”.

However the AEP’s feedback on the DfE consultation on ‘Gender Questioning Children‘ takes advice from several gender-affirmative charities, one of these, ‘Just For Us’ states in a link to the AEP document…“We recommend schools do not implement this draft, non-statutory guidance. We encourage teachers to stand for inclusion, not exclusion”!

So this is the current default position of UK EPs! It is underestimated how influential this profession is within the school system. Each school has its own ‘named’ EP. Schools will see “social transitioning” as an issue loaded with psychological content. If they need any advice on Cass or ‘Gender Questioning Children’ who will they turn to? What will they be told?!

I honestly do not expect her to deviete an inch from her path now. To even admit to herself, let alone to others, that she is infact wrong in everything she says and has done up to now, would be admitting that she has been negligent and has harmed many children and young adults as well as their families. Lawsuits are a great deterrent here, I think, possibly more than actual ideology capture? I might be wrong, still what an awful person she is.
